Promoting Resilience in Higher Education

Welcome to Staying BRiTE

The Staying BRiTE team is a collaborative network of teacher educators from 6 Australian universities, committed to developing curriculum to support development of resilience for teachers. Building on the success of the BRiTE (Building Resilience in Teacher Education) project (Mansfield, Beltman, Broadley & Weatherby-Fell, 2015)[1], the Staying BRiTE team members are embedding resilience skills and strategies in their teacher education programs and developing contextually responsive curriculum and resources.

We welcome your interest in our work and during 2017 this site will be updated with Staying BRiTE news, resources developed, and an illustrative authentic case showing an approach to building resilience for pre-service teachers from each university. Register your interest, participate in our blog discussions, follow the project on ResearchGate, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. We look forward to sharing our work throughout the year.
